Maximino Carrasquillo-Medina age 92, of Merritt Island, Florida, passed away May 18, 2017. He was born April 15, 1925 in Caguas, Puerto Rico, the son of the late Maximino Carrasquillo and Rosa Medina. Max served his country proudly with the United States Army, retiring after 22 years of service. He was predeceased by his first wife Julia Rodriguez-Rivera in 2011. Max is survived by his wife Juanita Lebron-Roman the two were married on January 13, 2013, children Evelyn, Myriam, Julie, Max, Carlos, Frank, Tommy, and Anita; four brothers Pellin, Jose, Juan, Jorge, sisters Blanca, and Julie. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. The family will be receiving friends Monday, May 22, 2017 from 5:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM at Collison Family Funeral Home a vigil service will be held at 6:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 8:00 AM also at the funeral home. Interment with military honors will be held Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 11:30 AM at Florida National Cemetery Bushnell, Floria.
